I plan to update all the photos in my shop in the near future, but I want to figure out what I want before I sit down to take a crapload of photos. I took a couple shots this morning... So, which do you prefer? Black or white? Does one show color and detail better than the other?
Okay, this isn't going to be helpful but sometimes it may depend on the piece. I think the white for this. Are you using a flash? If so, you may want to back up and zoom in to lessen it a bit or turn it off and see how that goes.

I think white makes this one *pop* more than the black. For some pieces, however, black might be better than white.

I think the white shows the details but I agree with krissynae that the black shows the color better. So in other words I'm no help lol
